Tutor's Personal Statement: Regarding Spanish, I have a combination of in-depth knowledge of Spanish, from living, studying and working as an adult as a Spanish language professional (magazine editor) in a Spanish speaking country (Argentina), with college level teaching experience in the US, balanced with hands-on experience working with children and teenagers to become fluent. I also have worked professionally as an interpreter/translator in legal transactions between the US and Mexico, having traveled there for business, and am quite familiar with Mexican Spanish, in addition to other dialects. I have experience in both following a classroom textbook and in devising my own teaching curriculum, to best suit the needs of the students. Regarding Music Lessons, I have eleven years of conservatory training in Piano Performance and other subjects, from Argentina, plus three years of training in the US, with several years of experience teaching beginning piano students and group Music lessons, following Music Learning Theory, Musikgarten and Orff methodologies.
