Tutor's Personal Statement: I never give up! There is always a way to reach a child and help them be successful. Many teachers fail at this because they don't want to spend the extra time looking for another way when the student doesn't "get it" the first time. Every child learns in a different way and we have to keep trying until we find the right way.

Experience with Special Needs Situations: I have always had student with special needs in my classrooms and am experienced at adjusting experiences to meet their needs. Last year I taught in an inclusion classroom with a Special Education co-teacher. We had 9 students with a variety of different needs and 19 general education students. This year every classroom in my building is an inclusion classroom.
